U12 – U18 VJBL Try-Outs Season 2024|25

The Diamond Valley Basketball Association is pleased to announce registrations for its upcoming representative tryouts are now open, please read document below for important information regarding this years try-outs.

Tryout Registration

Online registrations for our upcoming representative tryouts are now open.

Please note, that online registration via the PlayHQ portal above is the only avenue to register for the upcoming tryouts.

Only players that have registered will be allowed to enter and participate in the Diamond Valley Eagles U12-U18 Tryouts.

No walk-ups will be permitted entry.
Tryout Registrations will close at 5:00pm on Monday 30 September.
Players from other VJBL programs who are interested in trying out for the Diamond Valley Eagles must meet the following requirements.
3.1 Permission to Train: You must complete and submit a “Permission to Train” form. ***Available on Basketball Victoria Website from 23rd of Septmeber.*** CLICK HERE
3.2 Player Bio Submission: In addition to the form, please provide a brief bio please see requirements below:
3.2.1 Bio Requirement: Please clarify that a bio is not required from domestic players. This only needs to be completed by rep players from other associations who are looking to join our club.
3.2.2 Bio Requirement:
– Your full name and which age group will you be trying out for?- Playing Experience: Where have you played before?– Team Details: Which teams have you been a part of?- Competition Level: Specify the level you have played at (e.g. Victorian Championship, Met 1, Met 2, etc.).- Your current playing position?- Why you want to be a part of the Eagles Family?- Please email Bio – matt.shanahan@dvbasketball.com.au

Trial Attendance: Players are required to ATTEND ALL trainings.
Domestic Trial Outcomes: All players attending domestic trials will be informed immediately after the trial whether they have secured a spot in our representative trials the following week.

Diamond Valley Eagles Registration Fees
The Diamond Valley Registration fees for the 2024-2025 season will be $640 per child. (Inc. GST).

The registration acceptance link will be sent to you via email upon finalization of team selection and constitutes acceptance of your place in the Diamond Valley Eagles for 2024/2025 season.

***Please note try-outs will incur a $20 non-refundable fee, this ensures costs are covered for the courts and also ensures we can adequately prepare for numbers. Try-Out registrations will close EOB 5pm Monday 30th September 2024.***
