Junior Domestic

Diamond Valley Basketball Association runs the Northern Junior Basketball League, comprising of 20 clubs across Melbourne’s northern region and supporting more than 5,000 players. The league is one of the largest junior basketball competitions in Melbourne and Victoria.

Girls Age Groups

Saturday – U8s, U10s, U12s, U14s, U16s and U19s

Basketball size
Size 5 – U8s, U10s and U12s
Size 6 – U14s, U16s and U19s

Boys Age Groups

Saturday – U8s, U10s, U12s, U14s, U16s and U18’s

Basketball size
Size 5 – U8s, U10s and U12s
Size 6 – U14s
Size 7 – U16s and U18s

Under 8’s – 01.01.2019 – 31.12.2020 (must be 5 years of age)

Under 10’s – 01.01.2017 – 31.12.2018

Under 12’s – 01.01.2015 – 31.12.2016

Under 14’s – 01.01.2013 – 31.12.2014

Under 16’s – 01.01.2011 – 31.12.2012

Under 18’s – 01.01.2009 – 31.12.2010

Under 19’s – 01.01.2008 – 31.12.2008
