We are delighted to invite all DVBA partners and a guest to join us for a special Sponsors Night at our NBL1 home game.

DVBA Charity and Business Network Event
As part of the DVBA Business Network, we are proud to invite our partners to a special Charity and Business Networking Event, combining community impact, networking and a little friendly competition.
Time:8:30am – 10:00am

Event Schedule:
8:30am – Arrival, breakfast and coffee (provided)
8:45am – Welcome and guest speaker
9:00am – Shoot for Charity competition begins
9:45am – Trophy presentation and networking
10:00am – Event concludes
Shooting Hoops for a Good Cause
This year’s event will raise funds for Outside the Locker Room (OTLR), a registered Australian charity dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing through sport, schools and community programs. OTLR delivers mental health education and welfare support designed to build stronger, healthier and more connected communities (otlr.org.au). Bring up to four guests from your organisation and enjoy a relaxed morning of networking, breakfast and community impact. The morning will feature a special guest speaker, Brad Davidson (South East Melbourne Phoenix)/ Simon Derrick (CEO) to share insights on business, leadership and the value of partnerships.
Shoot for Charity Challenge
The highlight of the morning will be our Shoot for Charity Competition. Each participating business will select a DV NBL1, WNBL or NBL player as their shooter.
How it works:
• Each shooter receives 5 minutes to score as many baskets as possible
• Every basket scored = $5 donation from the business to OTLR
• The business with the highest score and donation total will claim bragging rights and take home the inaugural perpetual trophy
This is a fantastic opportunity to:
• Showcase your organisation’s CSR and community values
• Bring along your marketing or leadership team
• Network with fellow DVBA partners and businesses
• Experience firsthand the value of community partnership and sport as a platform for impact
DVBA 50th Celebration Gala
One of the highlights of our 50th year will be the DVBA 50th Celebration Gala.
Time:6:00pm
Date: Saturday 14th November
Location: The Centre Ivanhoe
Each DVBA partner will receive:
• One complimentary ticket to attend (valued at $180)
• 20% discount on table purchases should you wish to bring your wider team along
