Diamond Valley, VIC — The Diamond Valley Basketball Association is gearing up for a major celebration in 2026 as it commemorates its 50th anniversary, a milestone reflecting five decades of grassroots basketball, community spirit, and sporting development across the Diamond Valley region.
The anniversary comes on the back of a year of achievement and growth for the Association. Late in 2025, DVBA was named Basketball Victoria’s Association of the Year, a recognition of its strong community engagement and organisational impact across players, volunteers, officials and families alike.
To mark this historic milestone, DVBA will deliver a calendar of celebratory events and community activations throughout the anniversary year. From heritage round games and alumni reunions to gala functions, junior celebration days, commemorative merchandise releases and special in-stadium tributes, the 50th anniversary will honour the players, coaches, volunteers and families who have shaped the association over five decades.
