Diamond Valley Basketball Association wishes to advise our community that Jack Flemming has made the decision to step down from the role of NBL1 Men’s Head Coach for the 2026 season.
In a message to the club, Jack shared:
“After careful consideration, I have made the decision to step down from Men’s NBL1 Head Coach. This was not an easy choice. With new significant life and family commitments, I won’t be able to give the program the level of time and attention it deserves. I’ll always be an advocate of the program and wish the team every success moving forward. Thank you to everyone at the club for their understanding and support.”
Jack’s contribution to Diamond Valley spans many years. As a DV junior athlete and long-time junior coach, he has played an influential role across multiple generations of players. His passion, loyalty and connection to the club have been at the heart of everything he has contributed.
While we are disappointed to lose a highly respected coach, we fully support Jack’s decision and commend him for putting his family first. We thank him sincerely for his professionalism, care and commitment to the program.
The process to appoint a new NBL1 Men’s Head Coach is already underway, with strong interest and discussions progressing.
Our roster build continues as planned, ensuring momentum is maintained heading into the 2026 NBL1 season.
