Laila is currently qualified as a Level 1 referee and has been a DVBA referee for over a year. After seeing a post on Instagram Laila was inspired to become a referee. Laila still shares her love of participating in the game and plays in team UFC on Thursday nights.
Laila enjoys reffing good Senior Men’s games, a highlight of 2024 was reffing at the U14 National Classics, and being given the U14 Girls Bronze Medal game to officiate. The hardest thing Laila finds is reffing children aged 10 and under. Congratulations to Laila, our referee of the Month July 2024!
Fun facts – Laila enjoys hanging out with her friend Liv and is happy travel anywhere she can tan. Her favourite player is A’ja Wilson.
