Alyssa has been reffing since March 2023, and has this month levelled-up to a B grade referee, initially Alyssa didn’t want to be a referee but upon signing up realised the benefits reffing has. The job involves the sport she loves to play and easily fits her with my life.
Currently playing VJBL with Diamond Valley Eagles, a Big V Youth Championship Women’s Development Player and Junior Domestic with the Greenhills Beavers, Alyssa continues playing the sport she loves. Alyssa’s favourite age group to referee is the U8’s. The hardest thing she finds is being confronted and having to deal with arguments during the games. Fun facts – Alyssa likes to just do nothing and chill to relax. Traveling to a tropical island where the weather is nice and warm would be her ideal holiday. Her favourite player is unknown, she is not sure she has one favourite.
