Pizza Plenty has been supporting Diamond Valley Basketball Association (DVBA) since the beginning of 2025 and have become an integral part of the DVBA family.
They are a family-owned pizza shop located on Diamond Creek Road in Plenty, and since opening their doors, their focus has been simple: make great pizza, provide genuine customer service and become a business that people are proud to support. The Pizza Plenty team are passionate about looking after their customers, employing local people and giving back to the community that’s supported them every step of the way.
Daniel (owner) and the team were inspired to create a business that was a local pizza shop that the community could always rely on. Their philosophy is simple; to be the first place families and friends think of when they’re spending quality time together at home, whether it’s a Friday night after basketball, a birthday, or simply a night off from cooking.
Daniel talks about supporting DVBA, “As a father of four daughters, this one was an easy decision. I’ve watched my own girls grow through sport, not just in their skills, but in their confidence, resilience and friendships. Supporting the Diamond Valley is our way of helping other local families enjoy those same experiences. It’s about giving back to a community that has supported Pizza Plenty since day one.”
He continues, “Our connection to DVBA is through our family. Watching my children participate in junior sport has given me a real appreciation for the role clubs like the Diamond Valley play. They provide children with a safe, positive environment where they can challenge themselves, make friends and create lifelong memories, I’ve seen firsthand the impact sport has had on my own children. It’s taught them discipline, teamwork, resilience and confidence, while giving them friendships they’ll remember for years to come. Every child deserves the opportunity to experience those same benefits, and if Pizza Plenty can help make that happen, then it’s something we’re incredibly proud to be part of.”
The Pizza Plenty team loves to seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces and knowing they are helping to support something that genuinely benefits local families, they understand that community partnerships are at their best when everyone wins, the players, the families, the volunteers and the local businesses that get behind them.
Daniel hopes the partnership helps more children enjoy the game, build confidence and create lasting memories with their teammates. They believe if they can play even a small part in making junior basketball more accessible and enjoyable for local families, then they have achieved exactly what they had set out to do, and from a business perspective, Daniel and his team are proud to be building a business that has become part of the local community. Seeing customers return week after week, and knowing Pizza Plenty has become part of so many families’ Friday nights, celebrations and time together at home is something they are proud of.
Their love for their local community is evident, as Daniel states, “This community has supported my family and my business from the beginning, so it’s only right that we give back where we can. Whether it’s sponsoring the Diamond Valley Basketball, supporting local schools, or simply helping families spend a little more quality time together after a busy day, we’re proud to play a small part in making our community an even better place for the next generation.”
