Lacey has been reffing for nearly two years and is currently a B grade referee. Inspired by her Mum and Grandpa,
Lacey became a referee. Lacey has played basketball for most of her life and continues to do so. She enjoys officiating all age groups, “from juniors to seniors”. Highlights of her reffing career thus far being her experience officiating shot clock games in the VJBL and meeting other female officials like Shannon Jennings. The most challenging part of the role for Lacey is getting up on Saturday mornings.
Fun facts – Lacey loves spending time in the sun and at the beach to relax. Her favourite player is Mia Harvey, and her ideal holiday is anywhere with a beach.
