Valentino is a current B Grade level referee and has been reffing with DV for 18 months, “inspired by other referees and the love of basketball” were key factors in Valentinos decision to become a referee. Valentino also enjoys playing basketball currently playing Saturdays in DV Junior Domestic Competition and for the DV Eagles in VJBL on Friday nights.
Being nominated for Junior referee of the year in 2023 was a big career highlight for Valentino. The U18 boys is the group Valentino enjoys reffing most. Hot conditions during the warmer weather at Parade College prove to be challenge for him. Congratulations to Valentino, our referee of the Month February 2024!
Fun facts – Valentino enjoys watching Netflix to relax, and dreams of going to America to watch the NBA. His favourite player is Luca Doncic.
